The Computer Science Department has a faculty of 24 and 3specialties with an enrollment of 500 students. It has3professional laboratories with 900 computers including a computer network lab,a computer-application lab and a multimedia lab.

Our institute has been designated as a training base for talents incomputer application & software technology which are in dire need in China by 6 ministries including the Ministry ofEducation, and it is the only network training institute authorized by CISCO in Jilin Province , and a test center authorizedby VUE.
